Peter McWilliams - Service Manager
Peter McWilliams has a varied career in organisational development, and people management combined with a number of years working in training and education for people with disabilities. He has worked as a private consultant in manufacturing engineering and production management which has always involved him working with teams of people at all levels within organisations. Peter has always been interested in working with people both as individuals and teams, and understands the positive impact diversity can make to your workplace
He holds an M.Ed Degree in Adult Education, Training and Development from the University of Sheffield as well as various other Professional and Graduate Qualifications.

Róisín McDonagh - Assistant Manager
Róisín McDonagh joined EmployAbility Galway in 2009 in an Employment Facilitator role, and became Assistant Manager in 2026. Previously she worked as an Advertising Executive, and a Business Development Executive. Róisín holds a B.Comm and an MBS in Marketing both from NUI Galway. She is a native Irish speaker and provides a full seirbhís trí Ghaeilge for jobseekers and employers.
Roisin works with clients and employers in Galway City , South and North Conamara.

Harry Hussey - Employment Facilitator
Harry Hussey joined Employability Galway in 2008. His background is in Training, HRM and Business Management, he spent 10 years as a Frontline Manager in one of Ireland's largest multinationals. Harry holds an MSc in Human Resources Leadership and a BA in Business Enterprise and Community.
Harry works with clients and employers in Galway City and also has responsibility for Ballinasloe, and Mountbellew.

Mary Hibbitt - Employment Facilitator
Mary Hibbitt joined EmployAbility Galway in 2012. She has 10 year multinational Human Resources / Training background, and provided employment support to Travellers and unemployed people in Galway City. She holds a Diploma in Training and Development,Certificate in Personnel Management and holds a BA in Business, Enterprise and & Community.
Mary works with clients in Galway City and has responsiblity for the Tuam, Milltown, Dunmore and Glenamaddy area of County Galway.

Susan Reilly - Employment Facilitator
Susan Reilly joined Employability Galway in 2013. She has previously worked as a Youth Advocate and Family Support Worker. She has also worked as a Community Development worker with Galway Rural Development. Susan holds a BA in History, Sociology and Political Science from NUIGalway. She also holds an MA in Community Development from NUIGalway.
Susan works with clients and employers in Galway City and is responsible for the Kilcolgan, Kinvara, and Gort areas. As well as Loughrea and Portumna.

Charlene Butler - Employment Facilitator
Charlene Butler joined Employability Galway in 2015. Charlene holds a BA in English and History, from NUI Galway. Charlene is an integral part of the community highlighted by her voluntary work with Simon Community and Foróige's Big Brother Big Sister programme.
Charlene's client base is in Galway City, Headford, Corrandulla, Annaghdown, Athenry, Claregalway and surrounding areas.

Deirdre Lavelle - Employment Facilitator
Deirdre Lavelle joined Employability Galway in 2023. She has previously worked in the Retail Sector, as a Manager for over twenty years, mainly responsible for recruitment and training, of staff and management for the businesses. Deirdre’s passion is training and developing people, to enable productivity within the workplace, and also for employees to maximise their potential and value, and further enjoy their roles. As an employer, and recruiter, Deirdre worked along with the Employability Service for their clients, and seen first-hand, the mutual benefits for employer, team and employee.

Stephen Kilroy - Employment Facilitator
Stephen Kilroy joined Employability Galway in 2026. Stephen holds a BA in English and Philosophy, from UCD. He gained further qualifications with an M.A Degree in Film Production & Direction, and a Higher Diploma in Psychology, both from the University of Galway. Stephen has a varied career in customer service, mental health services and film production combined with a number of years working, training and providing education in the both the public and private language education. Managing people of all ages and backgrounds to achieve their goals. Stephen has always been interested in working with people both as individuals and teams, and understands the unique perspectives and positive impact diversity bring to a workplace
