About Us
Our Company
Updated 05 March 2013
In the late nineties through changes in legislation FAS became responsible for providing better access to employment for people with disabilities. We were set up in 2001 as one of 23 Supported Employment organisations in Ireland. FÁS wanted to work with Disability Services around the country to provide the best possible Supported Employment service. In each of the 23 areas agreement was reached where FAS would provide funding and a minimum of 2 Disability Services would come together and manage a pilot programme
